D'Angelico Guitars

D'Angelico Guitars was founded by John D'Angelico, who hand-crafted guitars in his small shop on Kenmare Street, New York City. He set up the company in 1932 and proceeded to craft hugely desirable D'Angelico hollowbody guitars at a rate of about 35 guitars a year, strictly hand-made with the aid of two or three workers, until his death in 1964. Since then, D'Angelico Guitars have been used by the likes of Chet Atkins, Pete Townshend (The Who), Hank Williams Junior and Joe Perry (Aerosmith). View All Information
