Key Features
Simple but powerful. Herbs and Stones Liquid Foam is a must-have for anyone who desires to take their rig to the next level. Consisting of a dual sequencer, this modular monophonic analog groovebox will rejuvenate your approach to production and performance through the complex patterns it emits.
From simple samples to complex synth leads, the Liquid Foam can do it all and then some! Achieving great sounds is as simple as connecting different stages of the groovebox with banana-type patch cables. At the centre of the Liquid Foam lives an analog VCO, providing you with two different stages of waveshaping for vast tonal possibilities. You can also invert the decay-only EG at any stage of the process. Should you desire, take advantage of the 2-pole resonant low pass VCF and CMOS-based final overdrive for even more manipulation.
Incredibly versatile, you'll be free to sync the Liquid Foam with any machine you desire as long as it has a clock input mini jack. Enhance your set-up today!

You'll find that the speed of the sequence can be determined by adjusting the rate knob. The upward arrow on the sleek black fascia represents the clock input jack, whilst the downward signifies the output. When you connect an external source to the clock input jack, the Liquid Foam automatically syncs to it. Once disconnected, the system will reboot as the internal clock takes over to lead the sequence.
Sequencer A provides you with four outputs. In its simplest form, you'll find that one of them can be set as high on virtually any clock step. The on-board LEDs are perfect for giving you instant visual feedback on the gates' clockwise rotation. When applying a gate signal to either input X or Y, the change of course will provide you with various combinations of high gates. This is perfect for allowing you to create a wide range of intricate melodies and sequences.
Sequencer B lies between the clock speed and the rate and width of the LFO. Every time that the clock step checks the condition of the LFO, if high then it will pass through a gate to the Liquid Foams outputs. Unlike Sequencer A, B rotates counter-clockwise. The manipulation of the LFO parameters allow you to set the gates as high, low or virtually anything in between.
Use the VCO to merge three different waveforms. By using this function you'll be free to create the perfect blend between triangle, sawtooth and rectangle wave. The Liquid Foam boasts a total of two stages. When turned clockwise, you'll find that the first knob creates the perfect blend between triangle and sawtooth. The second allows you to blend the current waveform with a rectangle wave whose pulse width can be determined by adjusting the width knob.
