Key Features
Groove on the go. Top-notch drum tone to fit any stage. The Dixon Drums 'Little Roomer' 20'' 5pc Shell Pack is a compact, portable drum kit that makes no compromises in sound or build quality. Built around its 20" x 7" bass drum, what the Little Roomer's 9-ply mahogany shells lack in size, they more than make up for with bags of sonic character.
The full-featured 10" snare drum, bursting with poppy power, is light enough to be mounted from your hi-hat stand, while the 10" and 13" toms provide well-rounded projection at a variety of tunings. The included 6" mountable tambourine features a unique rubber rim, perfect for drummers who want to add jangly grooves to their beat repertoire. With a bespoke hardware pack included, the Little Roomer is the best of both worlds for guerilla gigging.

One great feature of the Dixon Little Roomer is its versatility. Both the snare drum and included 6" tambourine can be mounted from 10.5mm L-rods (not included) to free up floor space around your kit even further. This means you need fewer stands in your hardware bag, lightening your load and cutting your set-up time down.
Intelligent mounting and top-notch hoops. Despite the Little Roomer's primary role as a space-saving drums solution, Dixon didn't take any shortcuts in the hardware department. The 10" x 7" rack tom mounts simply from the bass drum's 7/8" diameter mounting post, using the included mounting clamp. Likewise the 13" floor tom is equipped with sturdy, standard legs, and with 1.6mm, triple-flanged hoops all round, lack of sustain is never an issue.
More bass for your buck. You might imagine that the Little Roomer's compact shell sizes mean a lack of low-end. However, mahogany's warm bass-end response and tapered treble mean these tiny tubs produce a balanced and well-rounded sound reminiscent of much larger shells.
A 45-degree bearing edge is a common cut for drums, featuring a 1-ply edge, close to the outside of the drum shell. With a 45-degree bearing edge, the drumhead film has much less contact on the drum shell itself. This results in a more lively sound, packed full of sustain and attack. These bearing edges also produce considerably more harmonic overtones, making fine-tuning even easier, due to the increased sensitivity to tension changes.
