Foundation X is one of three new ranges of hardware from SJC, featuring a versatile selection of high-quality drumming equipment. Foundation X focuses on reliability, ensuring you get the most out of your drum setup during every performance. With heavy-duty steel designs, double braced legs and full adjustability built in, Foundation X Hardware promises a secure, balanced, and functional foundation upon which you can build your drumming setup. Foundation X stands feature 1 ¼" and 1" diameters, with a ¾" top tier on the cymbal stands. The stand bases are double braced and fitted with oversized rubber feet, offering increased stability and balance for your cymbals and ensuring you can focus on your playing without worrying about cymbal security. Cast hinged height adjustment systems allow for effortless adjustability of your stands, with nylon inserts for elimination of unwanted metal to metal contact. Cymbal stands feature convenient gearless tilters, with a ball-in-socket joint on the snare basket for virtually unlimited customisation of your snare angles and positioning. Foundation X hi-hat stands use a smooth direct-pull action, whereas the kick drum pedals utilise a more responsive double-chain cam action. Adjustable pedalboards and beaters ensure that the kick pedals can be altered to your exact preference.

Foundation Shadow consists of a range of black-plated stands, offering a lighter weight with the same strength and structural integrity as the X series. About SJC Drums

With humble beginnings in Mike and Scott Ciprari's (SJC) Grandmother's basement, SJC has since developed into one of the world's leading drum manufacturers and suppliers. In the beginning, the brothers were determined to pioneer the sound of a generation tirelessly seeking to improve themselves and their drum kits until they had reached a state of perfection. As the brother's skills progressed and they got better at building, they thought it a good idea to get some of their friends to play their kits and start to spread the word. Bands such as 'A Wilhelm Scream' and 'Strike Anywhere' were some of the few endorsements from the brothers. SJC's turning point came when the musical sensation 'Panic! At the Disco' played the MTV music awards in 2006.
