The EC-1000ET is powered by a pair of high output EMG Pickups, consisting of an EMG 81 in the bridge position and an EMG 60 in the neck. The EMG 81 produces an incredibly intense sound, with good amounts of high end cut. For the classic pickup combination, this LTD EC Guitar also features an EMG 60 pickup that has excellent output with clarity and sweet sustain.
EC Body Crafted From Mahogany
The classic EC body features a single cutaway, which offers easy access to the higher frets and added comfort. The guitar's body is crafted from mahogany, which provides a rich and resonant tone, ideal for rock music. The guitar has a black finish with statement binding for a classy and sleek appearance.
3-Piece Mahogany Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard
The 3-piece mahogany neck is sturdy, and more resilient to warping than the classic 1-piece neck. Mahogany as a neck tonewood is durable and offers a full and long-lasting guitar neck.
