Vintage engineering

The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe is part of a series that has been introduced as the closest, most accurate take of the revolutionary early Fender designs. Built with period accurate features – this guitar was Fender’s first Telecaster to feature two humbucking pickups alongside a solid body. You’ll also find a comfortable contoured belly cut and a larger headstock – which are both vintage features that are true to the original designs of this guitar.

Most crucially, the Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe comes equipped with CuNiFe pickup magnets – a technology revived specifically for the development of this guitar. They deliver a more aggressive tone than the single coils synonymous with the other Tele models, but can be easily tamed – especially on the neck – for a more delicate and gentle output. On the other hand, they will respond incredibly well to being pushed hard, offering a fiery sound that is powerful and perfect for those lead/solo moments of the set. You’ll be able to find your own unique voice thanks to the three-way pickup up selector and four controls with a dedicated volume and tone for each pickup.
