The MDP technology analyses audio signals using a variety of different dimensions and applying different effect levels to each stage. The end results is a bold, new sound with a previously unattainable range of expression and dynamic response.
With standard pedals the result is often a muffled, indistinct sound as the entire signal gets processed with one effect, but with MDP, the DA-2's distortion responds dramatically to your playing dynamics. This means every note is heard with clarity and definition, even when playing two or more notes at the same time.
Like all Boss pedals, the DA-2 is built to last and is capable of handling the highest of demands made by gigging musicians.
