Lightweight Mahogany Body

The Ibanez RGIR37BE features a lightweight mahogany body with elegant contours and a smooth design, creating an incredibly comfortable instrument with sweet, warm tonal characteristics. As well as appearance, the Ibanez also features a double-cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets to deliver incredible flexibility across the entire fingerboard.

Comfortable Nitro Wizard Neck

The use of Ibanez's own Nitro Wizard neck provides the Iron Label guitar with an enhanced playability, optimised for lead guitarists for a truly comfortable performance. The thin nature of the neck helps players perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly, whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. Crafted from maple and bubinga, the guitar's neck provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a strong sustain.

Bound Rosewood Fingerboard

The 2018 RG Series Ibanez is equipped with a bound rosewood fingerboard, which has been designed with a smooth, natural finish for a comfortable playing experience. The select rosewood tonewood provides the guitar with a very responsive bright, snappy attack, along with a smooth sustain and an open midrange. It’s bound edges allow for a smooth play and fluid hand flexibility across the whole neck.

EMG 707 Pickups

The Ibanez Iron Label guitar is designed with the metal guitarist in mind, featuring a set of EMG 707 pickups specifically created for 7-string guitars. The EMG 707 pickups eliminate the common problem of a muddy low B string, that lack rich harmonic character. Manufactured with an alnico V magnet and wide aperture coils, the EMG 707 offers an enhanced low B string, whilst still delivering a balanced tone. This powerful duo of 707 pickups will articulate every note, chord and harmonic and offer a reliable sound. If that's not enough, this powerful guitar also features a kill switch for creating stuttering 'musical strobe effects' at the flick of a switch.

Edge Zero II-7 Tremolo

The Ibanez Edge Zero is a high performance double locking tremolo first introduced in 2010, featuring similarities with both the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo and the original Floyd Rose Tremolo. This design created a unique and extremely versatile floating tremolo system which provides an added range of playing capabilities and improved tuning stability. For the Edge Zero II-7 model, Ibanez designed it with a lower profile to improve comfort, and added a stud locking function for superior tuning stability.
