Aimed at metal guitarists but also containing features which would make any musician's jaw drop, they excel in playability and tone. Spread Your Influence

They are Groundbreaking. Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups are the next step in pickup technology, using a ceramic magnet to discharge waves of aggression and attack whenever your strings vibrate. Coming with a three-way selector and coil tap to switch for splitting the humbuckers, you'll hear how they create searing articulation in every note which passes through them, allowing you to make some seriously intense noise. They are also incredibly quiet when not being used, meaning your playing will stay crisp and clear at all times.

With two unique voicing options which can be activated with the volume knob, you'll be able to experiment with your sound and have array of different tones at your disposal. The first voice emits an active, high output sound which has a soaring, crisp tone with a tight bass response and plenty of grit. The second voice creates a passive tone which still has high output, but with a fuller bodied and dynamic sound. This means the S61AL has the potential to transform your sound at a moment's notice, even when you're mid song.

Thunderous Tonewoods

Go inside the belly of the beast. The S61AL isn’t just about slick looks and a fine finish; it also has true substance when it comes to its core. Being carved from nyahtoh wood and coming with a flame maple top, there's a world of tone locked up inside this guitar, which will come rushing out when you play it. You'll find that your sound is warm and rich, but with plenty of attack come from the maple top to make your licks glisten with saturation.

A bound Macassar ebony fretboard and panga panga/walnut neck also help to mould this guitar's tone by giving it even more brightness and bite. The Nitro Wizard design of the neck allows for ultra-fast manoeuvring up and down the fretboard, so you'll be able to play both chords and solos with exceptional ease. Steel jumbo frets with Sub-zero treatment are also something to behold, having been designed to handle all manner of hard, brutal playing without so much as a scratch. You'll find that this warrior of a guitar is incredibly robust and versatile, ready to make anything you play sound glorious.

Built for the modern musician. You'll have no trouble keeping this guitar strapped to your body with its Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins in place. The Gibraltar-II bridge combined with Gotoh locking machineheads also keep your tuning tight and stable, so your playing will always sound sharp. Have no fear of the dark, because luminescent side dots on the neck serve as a guiding light should you find yourself playing the S61AL in the shadows, and the headstock logo will also glow in darker settings. These features, along with the black mirage gradation finish, make this model a king amongst guitars.
