The Ibanez SR1205 5-string bass guitar has a mahogany body with an ovangkol top lamination for a premium feel and a strong presence. The Vintage Natural Flat finish shows off the wood to best effect, and the Nordstrand "Big Single" pickups give a full-bodied, powerful, aggressive tone with the clarity characteristic of single coil pickups.

View Full DescriptionThe SR1200 has a 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck with KTS Titanium rods, and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets and abalone oval position inlays. The fret edges are specially rounded for smooth play and comfortable neck grip.
The bass also features a customised EQB-IIISC 3-band EQ with a dedicated preamp for Nordstrand, pickups for a purer, wider frequency response. It also boasts an EQ bypass switch and mid-frequency select switch.
