The T-Rex Alberta II Dual Overdrive builds on the exceptional tonal qualities of the original Alberta Overdrive. Bringing two Alberta Overdrives together into one box, the Alberta II delivers creamy rhythms and cutting lead tones in a rugged and accessible format. This design enables you to use the clean tone from your amp, a subtle "on the edge" overdrive from one channel, and a punchy, heavily driven sound from the other channel. That's just one example. The Alberta II is incredibly flexible, and hosts all of it's features in a footprint that is the same size as the original pedal.

New Fat Switches & Channel 2 Tweaks

The T-Rex Alberta II features a Fat switch on each channel, enabling you to expand the tonal range of this versatile unit even more. Flicking the switch to Fat brings out a sonic wave of thick, creamy tone with plenty of body and articulation. Channel 2 is also tweaked to provide a slightly more open and punchy tone, generating more pick attack and push.
