The Xotic Effects Custom Shop BBP-MB Pedal is a custom shop model that is based on the classic, acclaimed BB-Preamp. The BBP-MB has been modified and improved with a Mid Boost control, which provides you with increased tonal shaping options. The controls consist of Gain, Treble, Volume, Bass and Mid-Boost; Gain and Volume deliver increased projection for a big, full sound. Whilst Treble allows you to shape bright, sparkling highs and adjust the Bass levels for thick lows. Mid-Boost provides you with the option of up to +12dB of extra boost, for when you require a big sound. The BBP-MB also features True Bypass, that works to eliminate signal interference when the effect is switched off. The circuit isn't the only thing that pays homage to the classic BB-Preamp, as the BBP-MB features silver, metal housing with orange detailing that is reminiscent of the original's vibrant appearance.

Mid-Boost Control

The BBP-MB is based on the classic BB-Preamp, but it now features mid-boost control that allows you to add more bite and grind to your tone. It provides you with up to +12dB of mid-treble boost, so that you can take your BB-Preamp sound to the next level. Add more aggression to your sound by boosting the mids, for a tone ideal for rock and heavy styles.
