The DiMarzio DP234 The Black Angel Passive Soundhole Pickup is built for acoustic players needing natural amplified sound without permanent changes. Using a passive magnetic design, The Black Angel captures the full range of your acoustic guitar, responding closely to both right- and left-hand dynamics. It tracks subtle playing changes well, so softer passages and stronger strums come through clearly, without the compressed feel some pickups introduce. Despite being magnetic, it avoids an electric character, staying quiet and hum-free with no battery required.

The dual-coil humbucking layout is positioned parallel to the strings and acoustically isolated, helping reduce finger and pick noise. There’s also a built-in phase switch, which is especially useful if you’re combining this pickup with a piezo or internal microphone in a multi-source setup.
