KMA Machines Astrospurt 4-Stage JFET-Phaser Overview
The KMA Machines Astrospurt 4-Stage JFET-Phaser is a high-quality unit capable of producing a variety of wide, warm and soft soundscapes. With its range of controls, the pedal can create a subtle thickening of your tone through to a spacious, unsettling and immoveable wall of sound. The Depth control lets you go from a mild width-enhancing sound through to a radical phaser effect. The Emph dial is switchable and creates extra oscillations for an even more extreme sound.
If you find the effect becoming too intense, the MIX dial lets you blend in the original clean guitar signal for increased clarity of sound, just like using parallel effects processing. KMA Machines build high quality effects pedals by hand in Berlin using premium components and a rugged aluminium chassis; the Astrospurt is one of these premium pedals which offers a simple way of achieving a wide range of phaser sounds.

The KMA Machines Astrospurt 4-Stage JFET-Phaser is designed to be a simple to use unit with the capability for a very wide range of traditional and extreme phaser sounds. It is a rugged and durable unit, crafted from premium components and is built to last.
DEPTH & EMPH
The DEPTH control is the heart of the Astrospurt's tone; it lets you produce a subtle thickening of your tone, through to a more extreme phaser sound for some inspiring guitar tones reminiscent of the '70s. The EMPH control is switchable, and adds another dimension of phaser effect with its powerful oscillations and dizzy undulations of sound.
Clarity
If you find your tone becoming too extreme, the MIX dial lets you blend in some of your original clean guitar signal. This provides greater clarity and has the same effect as using parallel processing. The MIX dial ensures that, no matter how swirly and psychedelic the phaser effect becomes, you'll still have note clarity and articulation with a blend of clean guitar signal in your overall sound.
