Develop natural piano technique
Build your playing around the feel of an acoustic piano. The PX 770 uses Casio's Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II, with three sensors helping to capture your key presses accurately across all 88 weighted keys. Three touch sensitivity settings let you adjust the response to suit your playing, while hammer response, damper resonance, and damper noise add further acoustic-style detail. You also get damper, soft, and sostenuto pedals, including half-damper operation. Together, these features give you a responsive setup for everyday practice, lessons, and preparing pieces for exams or performances.
Bring concert grand character home
Casio's Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR sound source gives the PX 770 an expressive piano voice inspired by a nine-foot concert grand. Detailed sampling helps reproduce the resonance and dynamic changes you hear as your playing develops, giving you plenty of control over quieter passages and more forceful sections. A maximum polyphony of 128 notes supports detailed performances, while four reverb types let you adjust the sense of space around your sound. You aren't limited to piano either — 19 built-in tones give you different sounds to explore, with layer and split functions offering further ways to experiment.
Practise with an orchestra
Concert Play gives you a different way to approach classical practice. It includes 10 recorded pieces with orchestral accompaniment, letting you hear the music, work through your part, and then play alongside the ensemble. Listen, Lesson, and Play modes make it easy to approach each piece step by step. The PX 770 also includes 60 built-in songs, with selectable right- and left-hand parts for focused practice. A two-track MIDI recorder can capture around 5,000 notes, so you can record your playing and listen back to check timing, phrasing, or other areas you want to improve.
Make home practice straightforward
The PX 770 combines its full 88-key keyboard with a slim cabinet designed for bedrooms and living spaces. Its sliding cover helps keep dust away from the keys, while the included music stand gives you somewhere to place music or a compatible device. Casio Music Space adds visual learning tools, scores, and straightforward access to compatible settings, so you don't need to remember button combinations — particularly handy while you're learning your way around the piano. Two headphone outputs support quiet practice, and the built-in 12 cm stereo speakers are driven by an 8 W + 8 W amplification system.
