Doepfer A-127 VC Triple Resonance Filter Overview
The Doepfer A-127 is a voltage-controlled triple resonant filter. Consisting of three resonant bandpass filters chained together, the A-127 lets you filter your source with independent controls over each VCF stage. Set your own frequency, resonance, and audio level for each of the three filters to create unique, evolving sounds.
Featuring three built-in LFOs to modulate the filter frequencies of each filter independently, that can themselves be modulated by CV inputs, you can create shifting soundscapes instantly. Attenuation over CV amplitude adds further customisation to your filter modulation, so you can set depth, rate, and even dictate how much that rate changes all at once. With independent audio inputs and outputs for each filter, as well as master audio in and mix outputs, you have complete flexibility over the filters.

The A-127 offers huge flexibility for your sound design. With its three voltage-controlled bandpass filters that can all operate independently or on the same source, you can create just about anything. With built-in LFOs as well as CV inputs for each filter, you can modulate the frequency of each filter, and even modulate LFO rate! Separate inputs and outputs for each filter also let you route your filtered sound however you need, or you can use the master inputs and outputs to take the summed output of all three filters at once right to your mixer. Create vocoder-like effects, comb or notch-filtered sounds, and otherworldly textures.
