Larger than life sounds in a compact form. The Dreadbox Antidote Karplus Strong-Strings is a must-have module for your set-up. Coming complete with a 512 stages BBD chip, the Karplus loops a waveform segment through a delay to emulate the sound of strings being plucked or hammered. Thanks to its streamlined 10HP design, the module can be easily integrated into any set-up with minimal adjustments required.
At the heart of the module lies a noise generator with an adjustable decay known as "pluck". Signal passes through two analog lowpass filters at the input and output stages, the output filter also works in conjunction with the lowpass gate. Antidote is designed to provide precise tracking possibilities over five octaves (C0 up to B4), it can also process signals from external sources.
