Mutable Instruments Veils Quad VCA Module V2 (10HP) Overview
A classic revisited. You can never have too many VCAs in your modular rig and the Mutable Instruments Veils Quad VCA Module V2 is as good as it gets. The module provides you with a generous total of four VCAs. Each and every one of these boasts an adjustable response curve with offset control for maximum creative scope. As the veil's outputs are designed to be daisy chained, this allows you to blend groups of either two, three, or four channels together.

- Gain CV Amount: Adjusts the amplitude modulation from the channel's CV input, or direct gain control when no cable is patched into the CV input. At its highest position a CV of +5V provides a gain of 1 (0dB), and a CV above +5V may cause distortion.
- Response Curve Adjustment: Provides continuous variation between exponential and linear responses. Because the exponential function grows rapidly, very high gain (above 10) can be achieved with an exponential response curve.
- DC-Coupled Signal Input: Capable of accepting audio or CV signals.
- Signal Output: When no patch cable is plugged into an output, the signal from this channel is routed to the next channel. For example, when no cable is patched into output 1, output 2 will contain the sum of channel 2 and channel 1. If nothing is patched into outputs 1, 2, and 3, output 4 will contain the sum of all four channels.
- Indicator LED: Brightness represents signal level, and the colour represents the polarity of the signal (green is positive).
- Gain CV Input: Normalised to a constant +8V.
