The SQ7+ includes four dedicated RackUltra FX engines, bringing advanced processing inspired by Allen & Heath’s flagship touring systems into a compact live console format. Premium reverbs, harmonisers, vocal tuning, saturation, distortion, and pitch processing are available directly inside the desk, reducing the need for additional outboard gear or plugins. Alongside this, eight RackExtra FX engines allow multiple delays, reverbs, and modulation effects to run simultaneously across complex productions. Dedicated stereo sends and returns keep routing organised and flexible, helping engineers manage demanding front-of-house, monitor, theatre, and broadcast mixes with greater efficiency and creative control.

The SQ7+ is designed for engineers who prefer maximum physical control during fast-paced productions. Thirty-three motorised faders provide immediate access across larger channel counts, while 16 assignable SoftKeys and eight SoftRotaries allow quick adjustment of routing, scenes, monitor sends, and processing parameters. The larger 9-inch capacitive touchscreen and redesigned dark GUI improve readability in darker venues and control rooms, helping engineers navigate more quickly under pressure.
