Designed from four classic filter families (Butterworth, Chebyshev I & II, and Elliptic), you can achieve a wide range of different timbres with Engineer Filter. Each of the filters display a unique characteristic, opening a wide range of tonal shaping possibilities. Each of the four filter types is included in each of the four filter families, offering a total of 16 different filters for your music production needs. Changing the filter family allows you to modify the behaviour and distortion qualities of the filter, as well as the ability to adjust the frequency and order (DB/oct). Engineer Filter has been designed using intelligent DSP processing to ensure stability for each filter, even allowing up to 100th order filtering when using the Butterworth family.
