Antares DUO Overview
Antares DUO is a vocal doubling plugin that's ideal for producers and mixing engineers. Particularly in modern electronic mixes, vocals can often become buried underneath the instruments and effects. To cut through dense mixes, vocals need to be powerful and the easiest and best way to do this is with Antares DUO. DUO uses award-winning technology to create a synthetic double of your vocal track, meaning you can add power, depth and thickness to a single track to help stand out in hooks, choruses and anywhere your vocals need to jump out of your speakers.
Ideal for producers and mixing engineers working on Pop, R&B and even Rap vocals, DUO is comprised of four variation controls that allow you to tailor the sound of your double to your project. Transform your vocal performance
It's not uncommon these days to have a vocal track supported by multiple layers. Antares DUO creates a replica audio track and affects the performance through a variety of user-controllable factors including Pitch, Timing, Vibrato and Timbre. These adjustable parameters allow you to create a variation to the original performance, adding humanisation and thickness to your vocals without it sounding too robotic. Simply creating a carbon copy of the original vocal performance will result in a thin and sterile sound, whereas Antares DUO creates a copy with character, that complements the existing vocal track for a huge sound.
