Synergy Core – cutting-edge processing technology

Synergy Core is a brand-new technology exclusive to these new audio interfaces. The future-proof effects processing technology is comprised of 6x ARM-based DSPs and 2x FPGA units. The ARM-Based DSPs delivers improved efficiency, whilst the FPGA units handle all the audio mixing, dynamic processing and effects modelling. This helps to stabilise your DAW, offloading the effects processing to the dedicated chips. This frees up valuable CPU power, providing more room for inputs, VSTs and recording channels.

6x DSP + 2x FPGA chips let the Orion Studio Synergy Core handle up to 32 FX channel strips X 8 FX slots each for a maximum of 256 FX instances at any sample rate and over AFX2DAW. That's four times the processing power of the Orion Studio Rev. 2017.

With the Synergy Core interfaces, you wont need to the latest-spec computer to run your favourite plugins. The interface will take care of it all. If you are running Antelope’s effects through the hardware, Synergy Core technology allows you to shorten buffer size, reduce latency and free up CPU for different applications and onboard plugins.

Premium-grade AD/DA conversion

The Antelope Audio Orion Studio Synergy Core is a powerful audio interface for both Thunderbolt and USB enabled devices. This revision of the renowned Orion Studio interface features a range of improvements including brand new AD converters, raising the interfaces dynamic range to the industry best at 124dB. The 24-bit/192kHz AD converters deliver superior low latency performance and exceptional audio fidelity when it comes to recording. The high-resolution audio will capture every nuance of your source material, retaining its natural harmonics.

12 discrete microphone preamps

12 Class-A microphone preamps are now included in this revised version of the Orion Studio. The Class-A microphone preamps are designed to deliver crystal clear recordings every time. The combination XLR inputs can record mic, line and Hi-Z compatible equipment, ideal for both instruments and microphones.

Each channel features built-in Phantom Power for used with condenser microphones, ideal for studio-grade recordings. The microphone preamps are designed specifically for the Orion Studio Synergy Core to deliver stellar audio quality every time.

Thunderbolt™ 3 and USB connectivity

The Orion Studio Synergy Core features 32 channels of audio via Thunderbolt and 24 via USB connectivity. The superior ultra-low latency performance and custom FPGA allows you to create and stream multiple complex mixes and process audio with ease. The latest Thunderbolt 3 technology is used for maximum efficiency. Its huge parallel processing capabilities far surpass DSP chips used in similar interfaces. The smart algorithms, oversampling custom tweaked models, the FPGA provides the lowest latency performance possible, giving you the ability to create up to four independent, zero latency mixes at once. Antelope Audio have also made a Windows Thunderbolt™ driver available. This allows you to tap in to the high-speed, highly stable connectivity.

50 Synergy Core FX included

With the addition of the new Synergy Core technology, Antelope Audio have incorporated a library of 50 real-time studio effects. This premium-grade FX library is comprised of meticulously crafted hardware emulations, have been modelled for the utmost sonic accuracy. The massive collection of real-time effects ranges from legendary compressor units to reverbs and even guitar amps. The collection is taken from the Antelope Audio Synergy Core FX library, providing a wide variety of tools for recording, mixing and mastering.

Sleek design, versatile connectivity

The sleek and robust design of the Antelope Audio features a brand-new Carbon Grey front-panel faceplate. Its highly robust design is rack-mountable, requiring only 1U of rack space. Two pairs of monitoring outputs, 16 analog outs, 2 monitoring outputs, 2 stereo headphone outputs, 16 channels I/O via ADAT and SPDIF I/O, give you all the connectivity you need to link the interface to any other equipment.
