Constantly pushing the boundaries, V-Collection 9 is the new industry standard. Four new instruments expand the functionality and flexibility to new impressive levels, whilst improved performance and integration allow more producers and musicians to enjoy the most realistic digital instruments currently available. Powered by proprietary, exclusive modelling technology, each of the four new instruments offers a new experience for musicians and producers, enabling you to discover an expanded palette of tones for your projects. In addition to the four new instruments, several instruments in V-Collection 9 have been rebuilt from the ground up to offer even more sonic accuracy compared to the hardware original.

A total of 32 professional-grade instruments span over 14,000 presets, offering seemingly limitless tonal possibilities. Powered by cutting-edge technology

Using proprietary modelling algorithms, Arturia V-Collection 9 can recreate the iconic instruments down to the component parts to create unrivalled realism and immersion. Unmatched in analog emulation, Arturia V-Collection 9 is powered by TAE and Phi technologies. TAE offers component-level modelling to accurately present the characteristics and behaviour of the instrument, whilst Phi's state-of-the-art physical modelling brings the acoustic properties into the virtual world for hyper-realism. The result is truly a next-level sound that is indistinguishable from the original to add to your productions.

Improved performance

V-Collection 9 is now compatible with the Apple M1 processor allowing you to work faster than ever before! An additional four instruments now support microtuning thanks to compatibility with ODDSound’s MTS-ESP microtuning software (designed in collaboration with Aphex Twin). The graphical user interface (GUI) has also been upgraded for all V Collection instruments. Utilising the cutting-edge JUCE 6 framework, you can now enjoy 4K interfaces that respond more smoothly and quickly.

Load presets quicker than ever before. The factory library for the V Collection now responds up to 2x faster allowing you to quickly audition sounds so you can capture your inspiration. Navigating between preset filters is also made easier thanks to the new ‘Grid’ and ‘List’ views.

FX Collection

What’s new in FX Collection 3

Now comprising of 26 titles including distortions, granular processors, mix bus processors and parallel processing, modulation, compression, delays, reverbs, preamps and much more. Four brand-new effects are introduced in FX Collection 3, Dist OPAMP-21, Dist TUBE-CULTURE, Tape Mello-FL and EFx Fragments. OPAMP-21 is inspired by a classic New York-designed direct box aimed at guitar players. Fusing gritty, tube-like harmonics, high gain crunch and tremendous flexibility together makes this a no-brainer for guitarists looking for a signature driving rhythm tone. Dist TUBE-CULTURE injects your productions with modern, tube-driven saturation to breathe new life and harmonics into your sound.

In addition to newly introduced designs, FX Collection 3 boasts a new A/B comparison switch to let you quickly compare two settings on any plug-in to identify what works in your mix. Alongside this are new and improved interfaces for better workflow, preset browsing and performance.

The four engines of Pigments are comprised of: Harmonic, Wavetable, Virtual Analog, and Sample & Granular. Create virtually any sound with more range and flexibility than ever. Each engine has unique characteristics, and you can blend between two engines to experiment with complex sounds to your heart's content.

The harmonic engine offers cutting-edge additive synthesis to forge curious timbres from scratch. Enjoy a range of sounds from plastic tubular resonance to evolving vowel-like swells, all in vivid harmonic detail. Animate, distort and morph through over 200 complex wavetables perfect for everything from heavy bass music to sparkling leads. Courtesy of Arturia's award-winning analog emulation technology, inject analog warmth and vintage charm into your mix with the virtual analog engine. Transform samples into intricate granular patches then warp, contort, stretch and modulate them down to the finest detail with the Sample & Granular engine. Finally, the Utility engine lets you add an extra oscillator to the mix, in conjunction with 2 noise sample players to spice up your sound with instant texture, timbre, and colour.

Sound design workflow

The latest upgrades to Pigment's fluid workflow pack intuitive features to the limit, offering comprehensive versatility in combination with intelligent design. Single-click visual modulation is easier than ever, now with a simple click-and-drag workflow that links modulation source and destination in seconds. Quickly move between in-depth views for any of Pigments' multimode modules with left-right buttons. LFO presets offer 6 familiar waveforms for quick and simple modulation. FX and sequencer bypass helps you focus and check synth engines on the fly. New sync modes create dynamic rhythms by blurring lines between straight, triplet, and dotted sync within Pigments' modulators. Finally, Pigments is now compatible with ODDSound's micro tuning software MTS-ESP, designed with Aphex Twin.

Limitless modulation

The wide variety of parameters and in-depth modulation, provides limitless creative possibilities. Providing new and modern ways to approach modulation, Pigments allows you to modulate virtually any parameter you can see. It provides cutting-edge ways to interact and shape your sounds.

Three envelopes, three LFOs, customisable parameters, randomizers and twin combinators allow you to get in-depth with your sound design. A virtual, on-screen MIDI keyboard allows you to audition sounds, even without an external MIDI controller.
