Based upon a rare Italian synthesizer produced in the early '80s, Elka-X is powered by the signature Cherry Audio modelling techniques to create a replica. Originally designed by Elka, the Synthex is a highly powerful synthesizer that offers unique tones to many other synths from that era and now the Elka-X allowers users of all abilities to explore this piece of music history in your DAW.
Standing out from the crowd of the time, the Synthex combined an array of uncommon and forward-thinking features. A highly-stable digitally-controlled analog oscillator and powerful multi-mode filter powered by the CEM3320 chips, a wide range of tonal exploration was possible.
