The OX8-J is fitted with ultra-high performance Jensen JT-MB-CPC transformers, providing additional isolated balanced outputs as a microphone splitter. These incredible transformers feature high common-mode rejection ratios, as well a boasting a tremendous frequency response and time domain performance. These transformers are designed to be driven from a 150 Ohm microphone source, and can be used with balanced or unbalanced source and/or loads as both primary and secondary are fully-balanced. Each transformer features a 30dB magnetic shield package as standard.
