Steinberg UR-12 USB Audio Interface (iOS Ready)

The UR-12 2x2 USB Audio Interface is a compact device with a rugged construction, the metal chassis is tough enough to withstand rough handling while on the road. A class-A D-PRE mic preamp is featured on the UR-12, providing the interface with unrivaled transparency and detailed sound. In addition, top of the range converters provide a maximum sampling rate of 192kHz at a resolution of 24-bits delivering pristine audio quality.

Connectivity with iPads is achieved through the UR-12's Class Compliant mode. Combined with an iOS audio application such as Steinberg's Cubasis, iPad control gives an intuitive music production experience. The UR-12 is also compatible with all major audio editing, mastering and music production software that supports ASIO, Core Audio or WDM standards. A special version of Cubase is included with the UR-12; Cubase AI, offering a complete production environment in one package.

The Steingberg UR-12 features a loopback function which lets you broadcast your audio production to the internet, ideal for capturing audio from a college lecture, a live session or a voiceover for a pre recorded piece of music.

If you are working with angled instrument miking, you might want to try the IRF2, or for more specialised vocal mic positioning, the RF-Pro.

The RF-X is a more affordable and portable version of sE's industry standard RF-Pro. The lightweight body and clamp assembly means the booth is simple and easy to use. The four layer acoustic filter comprises of a outer panel, wool fabric layer, air gap layer and an inner acoustic foam. This unique design ensures that your recordings will exhibit close to zero sound colouration.

Isolating memory foam in the ear cushions delivers improved low end response and because they gently conform to your unique head shape, you'll be comfortable wearing them all day. With a detachable and replaceable locking cable, rotating ear cups for travel and storage and replaceable ear and head cushions, the KNS 8400 headphones are durable whatever you put them through. A low pressure headband system and self-aligning yoke system ensure comfortability and the best possible fit.

Please Note: Steinberg USB audio interfaces are now incompatible with OS X 10.11.1. Since the release of 10.11.1, Steinberg have discovered an issue with audio dropouts that can vary depending on the system. Steinberg apologise for any inconvenience that this problem may cause, and are currently working on a resolution for this problem.
