Traditionally, bass traps are designed using mineral wool that's covered by stretched fabric. Whilst this may be aesthetically what we've come to expect with acoustic treatment, it is generally not advised for health purposes as the mineral fibres can often contain harmful chemical components and are therefore more likely to be a source of health hazards. Viscoutic's continued research and innovation into acoustic solutions has led to a forward development in creating a safe and outstanding performance bass trap such as the Mega Bass Trap Kit.

Using a holistic approach, VicCinema is comprised of recycled materials to improve the air quality and severely reduce the potential outburst of any spreading fires. Responsibly sourced, the VicCinema Mega Bass Trap Kit's raw materials are predominantly made of recycled PET Bottles (65 percent), which are recyclable and low emitting materials (low VOC emissions), therefore providing good air quality. A Class-1 material by the OEKO-TEX 100 standard, the Mega Bass Trap meets all the requirements established for human safety, whilst producing immaculate results.
