3 Custom Audio Processors

The 2 BUS + features three totally original audio processors that let you easily add a selection of colour and tone to your mixes. 'Harmonics' is a parallel processor that adds a carefully crafted mixture of odd and even harmonics, allowing you to add some light analog distortion to your mix to make your top-end subtly simmer, and bass gently growl. This runs parallel in the circuit, allowing you to precisely dial in the required amount for subtle yet powerful results. 'Paralimit' is a one-knob parallel compression tool that will give you instant gratification whenever you need an aggressive and powerful sound, allowing you to easily add that punch on a full mix or stereo stem. The final processor is 'X-Former'. 'X-Former' is a final mix bus circuit with a totally unique core saturation feature that can go from subtle to driven. This takes a unique approach to driving the core, allowing you to add that solid, punchy sound.

Add Punch, Clarity, Depth & Imaging

Analog summing uses multiple converters that share the workload of getting your sounds from digital into analog, therefore allowing for improved articulation, detail, clarity and punch in your mixes. There's a certain element of energy and depth that analog summing gives that digital just cannot reproduce. Your panning is super wide and precise, opening up more space, while your centered material is focused and strong, giving you a true three-dimensional image. Reverbs are spacious and deep, bass is huge, powerful and engaging, while the treble and mids are articulate and filling. Analog channels allow you to get that punchy, wide and deep sound so you can get a great mix. The 2 BUS + allows you to run far hotter signals into separate busses instead of overtaxing the internal stereo buss, which limits the mix to its available headroom. This allows the track to retain its original detail, along with punch, clarity, and imaging.

Effortless Analog Parallel Processing

The 2 BUS + provides incredible flexibility when it comes to parallel processing. You can easily assign 'Harmonics' and 'Paralimit' to a whole mix or individual channel pairs, instantly flip their patching order, and blend the processed and unprocessed signals with the twist of a knob. This lets you precisely dial in the perfect amount for a perfectly processed mix. Additionally, the 2 BUS + features an external insert with true hard-wired bypass that allows you to easily integrate your favourite external outboard gear into the stereo mix with the touch of a button. True hard-wired bypass means the processor is completely taken out of the signal when bypassed, meaning you get true A/B comparison that is not clouded by disruptive noises, colouration or latency.

Emulation Impossible

Many analog processors such as reverbs, delays, EQs and compressors have been remodeled to digital beautifully. However, analog summing mixers still remain impossible to emulate digitally. We've all been there where our mix just isn't getting that punch and life it needs. Our centre is maxed out not focused, panning becomes blurry, our instruments and synths are muddled together and don't have their own space, the reverb we worked so hard on starts to disappear, and the mix just lacks that energy we want.
