The Doepfer A-180-2 Multiples Vintage Edition is a simplistic module with powerful capabilities. Equipped with eight inter-connected sockets, the A-180-2 allows you to multiply any audio or control signal. As standard, the A-180-2 provides you with two 4-fold multiples, but this can be adjusted to a single 8-fold multiple using a solder bridge on the PCB. 2 x 4-Fold or Single 8-Fold

This Doepfer A-180-2 can be adjusted to work as either a single 8-fold multiple, or two 4-fold multiples. This can be done by removing the internal solder link between sockets 4 and 5 (the middle two sockets on the module). Doing so would split the eight interconnected sockets into two groups. Group 1 would consist of sockets 1 to 4 (the top 4 sockets), whilst Group 2 would consist of sockets 5 to 8 (the bottom 4 sockets). This solder link is not present to begin with, and would require you to add it to the circuit to switch to the 8-fold multiple configuration from the factory-set 2 x 4-fold configuration.
