The Drawmer MC3.1 Desktop Monitor Controller builds on the design of the MC2.1 with a range of upgrades and enhancements for added control. One of the main ideas when creating the MC3.1 was maintaining the faithful reproduction of the audio signal without colour the sound. The compact design is ideal as a table-top unit, acting as a keystone in any studio setting. Incorporating three stereo balanced speaker outputs and a dedicated mono speaker/subwoofer output each, the MC3.1 provides everything you need to take full control of your monitoring system. The ultra-low noise and transparent circuit help to maintain optimal signal integrity for the best possible audio performance.

Upgrades & Enhancements

Building on the success of the MC2.1, Drawmer have incorporated a range of design upgrades and additional connectivity for optimal control. The MC3.1 includes a combined digital AES/SPDIF (24-bit/192kHz) input, providing 5 individually switchable sources in total, including a front panel Aux input with level control. Full cue mix facilities are also included with level control and separate source selection for main or cue outputs, as well as two headphone amplifiers for the artist. A secondary preset volume control on the front provides calibrated output levels for the monitors, allowing you to hear the mix at the same predetermined volume, without having to adjust the controls manually. Additionally, mix checking capabilities are also included, incorporating low, mid and hig solo switches. The talkback section has also been upgraded to include an external microphone in additional to the internal and footswitch operation.

The compact and highly-robust design of the Drawmer MC3.1 Desktop Monitor Controller makes it ideal for professional studio settings. The ergonomic layout and premium-grade components ensure ease of use, as well as reliability. In total, the controller features 5 individually switchable sources, and the AUX input is ideal for connecting devices such as Mp3 players, smartphones or tablets. The active internal circuitry features timed relay protection on all speaker outputs to prevent power pops. It also features built-in Talkback with level control, internal or external microphone. The rugged steel chassis features a stylish brushed aluminium cover, for a sleek aesthetic that will last for years.
