The IK Multimedia iRig HD 2 goes one step further than the original iRig HD unit. It includes a 1/4" Amp Out jack which allows you to send your signal directly to your guitar amp, floor tuner, or rig setup without the need for special conversion adapters. This is a truly unique feature that makes life on stage or in the studio so much easier. And if that's not enough, there is also a dual mode switch which lets you select which type of signal you wish to send to your amplifier. A microphone stand mounting clip and Velcro strap is included with the iRig HD 2 for even more convenience and a tidy setup.
Versatile connectivity
This guitar interface is built for a range of audio applications thanks to its options for both digital and analog connections. And it is compatible with Lightning and USB devices, so the possibilities really are endless. Better still, the iRig HD 2 features a new 1/8" headphone jack with preamp and level control, allowing you to monitor while you play and record, even if your smartphone doesn't include a headphone jack. The preamp is designed to optimise the audio signal for exceptional quality of sound.
You can also use the headphone output to send a stereo signal out to a mixing console or powered studio monitors whilst the premium instrument level 1/4" Hi-Z input jack ensures the best audio signal for your electric guitar or bass. But don't feel like you're limited in instrumentation, the iRig HD 2 can be used with line level signals such as those from synths, keyboards, and mixers.
