NUGEN MasterCheck

The Nugen Audio MasterCheck is a master check tool that ensures your master is suitable for various streaming and audio delivery services. Audio delivery services all use data compression, loudness normalisation or both, which can deteriorate the quality of your mix and master. MasterCheck analyses and reveals these problems ahead of time, so you can deliver perfectly tuned masters for various playout systems.

By demonstrating the effects of loudness normalisation, MasterCheck enables you to work towards a sweet spot between perceived loudness and dynamics as well as to identify artefacts brought in by encoding processes. Furthermore, an external ref function allows you to compare A/B with reference material so you can check differences in loudness, PLR and True Peak measurements.
