Basing its design and behaviour on the renowned Roland SH-101, the Intellijel Atlantis brings vintage-style synthesis into the modern era. The architecture and circuitry has been recreated for versatile sound design capabilities. The premium-grade components and strict attention to detail results in a powerful yet flexible synth module that can create everything from rich, punchy basslines to crunchy leads. The versatile sonic capabilities make it ideal for sound design applications. The versatile modulation oscillators can be used as either or an LFO or VCO, spanning over 8 octaves for optimal flexibility. The vintage-style design and ergonomic layout makes creating sounds easier than ever before.
The Atlantis Synth Module combines a modulation and primary voltage-controlled oscillator, each with triangle cores. It also features a dedicated mixer section which allows you to adjust the balance of the oscillators waveforms. The versatile mixer section includes a sinewave for balancing the primary oscillators waveforms. The discrete triangle core VCOs are customised for delivering increased tracking capabilities and hard sync. The modulation VCO can also be used to link to the primary VCO and pitch CV, as well as being switchable from LFO to VCO. The multimode, 4-pole filter is also inspired by the SH-101, features lowpass, bandpass and high-pass modes. The LP mode also features a special LP Boost switch that produces a much fatter and more dominant sound. The filter can also self-oscillate to produce a clean sine wave that can layered to produce four different pitches simultaneously.
With 27 jacks in total, the Intellijel Atlantis module gives you more than enough connectivity to make virtually any sound you want. The onboard jacks are separated into three sections including: VCO, Envelope and Modulator. The Envelope section includes ADSR with a dual range switch, which can also be used in looping mode. The Modulator section features dedicated connections for each the four waveforms as well as Sync, 1V/Oct, CLK, Noise, S&H and more. The output VCA is designed to feed the two level output clipping circuit, for a more pronounced and fatter sound.
The robust and roadworthy design of the Atlantis Module is ideal for both live and studio applications. Its ergonomic layout makes sound design easier than ever, with every parameter clearly annotated and separated into different sections along with the patching section toward the top. The modulation and VCO section include small rotary wheels that allows you to choose between your octaves, wave types and fine tuning. Each fader provides precision control over your level and parameters, with various LEDs incorporated to display when a parameter or function is in use. The Atlantis Module is skiff friendly and can be used in a range of modular setups.
