Released in 1978, the JUPITER-4 was Roland’s first polyphonic synthesizer and the first to carry the JUPITER name. Technologically brilliant and sonically immaculate, the beautiful, mystical tones the Jupiter-4 was capable of were monumental in emerging styles of synth-pop in the late '70s and early '80s.
