ML-1 FET solid-state large-diaphragm condenser microphone

The ML-1 utilizes advanced technology to provide superior audio. The large-diaphragm design features classic-style FET circuitry combined with a gold-sputtered 6-micron capsule which delivers an ultra-linear frequency response, providing the perfect input sound for advanced mic modelling techniques. This means you can tap into the sound and style of classic, legendary and modern-day microphones to achieve the sound you need. With eight microphone models to choose from with a range of in-software controls, you can shape your sound with absolute precision.

ML-2 small-diaphragm condenser microphones

The ML-2's utilise advanced technology to provide superior audio quality. It is a small diaphragm condenser microphone that captures sound with incredible accuracy and clarity. Additionally, it has a low noise floor and is capable of recording at 96kHz with the lowest buffer size possible. This combination of features ensures the lowest possible latency.

Utilising the onboard 'Dynamic' switch, you can adapt to any sound source, providing max SPL (sound pressure levels) so you can capture loud sound sources without distortion. Whilst increasing your volume range, the 'Dynamic' switch will not affect the overall tonality of the microphone; ensuring you retain the sound or microphone model you have selected.

Virtual Microphone System - latency-free processing

With the accompanying software, the microphones allow you to tap into the sound of a huge range of classic microphone styles, ranging from legendary vintage mics to modern-day classics with the simple click of a mouse. Using the VMS software alongside a low-latency interface allows you to eliminate latency when recording; allowing you to hear yourself using any of the mic models in real-time. The Complete Bundle comes with 59 microphone models in total (see below for a full list), including rare and discontinued microphones with unique characters to explore.

Advanced sound shaping - complete with powerful analog preamp plugins

The bundle also comes complete with two vintage emulated analog preamp plugins, FG-73 and FG-76, designed to elevate your tone-shaping capabilities. The FG-73 preamp is inspired by one of the most renowned discrete solid-state preamps in the world, known for its bold, warm, and present sound that has graced countless recordings. This preamp delivers stunning results, adding depth and richness to your audio tracks.

On the other hand, the FG-76 preamp is modelled after a vintage German tube pre that has been featured on hundreds of classic albums. This preamp infuses your tracks with an abundance of energy, providing a thick, colourful tone and tasteful low-end saturation that enhances the performance of kicks and bass lines.
