Built in professional X/Y stereo microphone

Featuring two professional-grade cardioid microphone capsules, the DR-44WLB has the diaphragms overlapping in the same axis in an X/Y pattern to provide a true stereo image. New and improved preamplifiers ensure the cleanest operation possible with no signal loss and maximum signal to noise ratio for your DR-44WLB to get the best recordings possible, every time. Designed to perform without distortion in high SPL environments, the DR-44WLB can withstand levels up to 132dB, making it a suitable source for a live concert or rehearsal recordings. Internally shock-mounted, when recording these loud concerts or rehearsals, you can be sure that you will reduce any unwanted vibration noises that can interfere with your recording along with the four-position high-pass filter to get the cleanest recording possible.

Combination inputs for versatile application

Utilising combination inputs, the DR-44WLB accepts both XLR and TRS input connections. These can be used to record the outputs from your mixing console or external microphones including any condenser microphones through the integrated phantom power and instruments to get a full picture of the music you are recording with up to 4 channels of simultaneous recording. Capable of recording four mono, one stereo/two mono or two stereo tracks, the DR-44WLB can accommodate any recording scenario.

MTR Mode for music production

A powerful tool for songwriters, the MTR mode allows the user to use the DR-44WLB as a portable multi-track studio solution with recording and overdubbing functionality. Included effects such as reverb allow you to create studio-ready recordings in a portable and compact, battery-operated solution without the need to carry around a computer or laptop.

Expertly designed, numerous other features are included with the DR-44WLB that make recording so convenient. Recallable recording settings and GPS information can be saved within the BWF files. Using the XIR (eXtended Recording Information) feature, you can identify the settings used in a certain recording and recall these for any future sessions. A File Import Protection feature is used to prevent any important recorded files from being mistakenly deleted by the main unit to make sure you never accidentally lose your sessions!
