Sedyel pride themselves on exceptional build quality. This is why all of their instruments are hand-built by experienced artisans in Germany. Small details such as using a CNC machine to mill the aluminium comb to ensure it's perfectly balanced, to only requiring one screw to be removed to service the slider all come together to produce this magnificent instrument.
Talking about sliders, it's obvious that a lot of time has gone into designing the slider on the Symphony 64 Grand. Crated from 1mm German silver, this slider is ergonomically convex-shaped and even has a silver-plated slider button with a soft-touch finish. Each slider is individually lapped alongside the mouthpiece to ensure a very silent and airtight action.
The Symphony 64 harmonica is a result of Seydel's 160 years of experience hand-crafting premium harmonicas. During this time, they have managed to perfect every detail of the harmonica. One of their key discoveries is the use of stainless steel reeds. Not only do these reeds offer more stable tuning - even under extreme stress - but they're also resistant to any corrosion. These reeds are manufactured using fine-cut technology, optimised flatness, and have minimal tolerance between the tongues and the reed plates. What does this mean for you?
